The only downside to receiving a check from your employer, a client or a friend is that you might have to make an extra trip to deposit it. Or you might not! With Remote Deposit Anywhere, you can use the HFCU eTeller Mobile app and a smartphone camera to deposit your check from your home, your workplace or anywhere else your day takes you.
- Download the HFCU eTeller Mobile app from the App Store or Google Play
- Endorse the check as you normally would by signing it, adding your account number and the phrase: "For mobile deposit only"
- Open our app and select the "Deposit a Check" icon
- Enter the check amount and click "Continue"
- Tap on the screen for "Check Front" to take a picture of the front of the check (Make sure the entire check fits within the frame)
- Click "Continue" and it will take you to the screen where you will click a picture of the back of the check
- Select the account where you want the check funds deposited
- Tap "Submit" and your deposit is made!
- You'll receive electronic confirmation when your deposit is received
- Funds are often accessible as soon as the next business day
