Can I transfer money by wire from my Houston Federal Credit Union account to another account at a different bank or credit union and how much does it cost?

Yes, you may wire funds to a different financial institution from your account with HFCU. For domestic wires within the U.S., the fee is $15.00. The fee for international wires is $47.00 + any additional fees involved depending on the amount and the location. We also provide Western Union® services. Prices for Western Union wires vary depending on the amount and the location.

Please note that there are cut off times for each type of wire and requirements will vary depending on the method of your request.
