What Can You Do With eTeller?
eTeller Features:
Verify savings, checking, and loan balances
View recent transactions or details for a specific account
Request account statements between the dates you specify
Transfer funds from one account to another
Make loan payments from your checking or savings accounts
eTeller Security:
HFCU has taken the necessary steps to ensure that your data is protected. HFCU uses access codes, encryption, and a firewall to protect your data. Access Codes are used to gain initial access to your account. Keep your password in a safe place and never give your password to anyone.
Encryption disguises information to hide its meaning, and it enhances confidentiality by restricting access to intended users only. Information is encrypted and decrypted with a cipher and key using specialized computer hardware and software.
Currently, HFCU uses VeriSign's 128-bit Global ID. Furthermore, our Firewall enhances security by monitoring and limiting access to computer devices. They create a security barrier between two or more networks to protect HFCU's computer system from unauthorized entry.
About Regulation D:
Regulation D - Limit on Transfers From Savings and Money Market Accounts places certain restrictions on account activity. During any statement period, you may not make more than six withdrawals or transfers to another credit union account of yours or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer or telephonic order or instruction. No more than three of the six transfers may be made by check, draft, debit card (if applicable), or similar order to a third party. If you exceed the transfer limitations set forth above in any statement period, your account will be subject to closure by the credit union.
